Important rules for returning to classes.
If a student has coronavirus symptoms they will not be allowed to participate in any of our classed unless they have proof of a negative test taken within 24 hours.
Entry to the dance studio and blue studio at The Beaulieu Park School will be from the outside doors (fire exits) Toilet facilities will be available for coaches and participants, but not for parents / general public. Parents are not allowed into the sports centre or schools for the time being and must drop off and wait in their cars. The only exceptions will be for very young children on their initial trial class, if they're uncomfortable being separated from parents.
If your child takes the Home Ed classes at the Beaulieu Community Centre I will walk down and collect them from the main entrance, however twinkle tots/ tiny tap parents need to bring their children up to the room and can stay in the classroom throughout.
When visiting either Great Leighs Primary School or The Beaulieu Park School, you must queue outside with your children.
Masks can be worn at your own digression but we recommend that you wear one if you're in a busy area/ queue at any of our venues.
Sanitiser will be available at the entrance and exit of the dance studio and students will also be asked to use it after sneezing or coughing. Surfaces will be wiped down in-between sessions.
Even thought you're distancing please be visible for pick up - We will not let children out of the external doors unless we can see you so please be there ready to collect (this applies to all children except senior classes - high school age upwards who we trust to leave and come back if parents aren't around.) If you believe your child is sensible and old enough to make their way to the car please let us know at drop off.
General
If anyone develops coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms during any of our classes, they will be sent home.
If a child is awaiting collection, they should be moved if possible, to a room where they can be isolated behind a closed door, depending on the age of the child and with appropriate adult supervision if required. Ideally, a window should be opened for ventilation. If it is not possible to isolate them, we will move them to an area which is at least 2 metres away from other people.
PPE will be worn by staff caring for the child while they await collection if a distance of 2 metres cannot be maintained (such as for a very young child or a child with complex needs)
If a member of staff has helped someone who was taken unwell with coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms, they do not need to go home unless they develop symptoms themselves. They should wash their hands thoroughly for 20 seconds after any contact with someone who is unwell before cleaning the area with disinfectant after someone with symptoms has left.
Symptoms
The most important symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are recent onset of any of the following:
